Troy Varsity Sailing Team Receives Grant from Troy Community Foundation

The Troy Varsity Sailing Team was recently awarded a grant from the Troy Community Foundation to support the purchase of new team pinnies.

Pinnies are sailing jerseys worn over a sailor’s lifejacket during regattas. They display the school logo and team affiliations, helping identify sailors on the water while giving the team a unified and professional appearance. Pinnies are also required for many high school sailing events.

Thanks to the generosity of the Troy Community Foundation, the Troy team now has a brand new full set of pinnies for competition. This support helps strengthen the team, promote school pride, and continue growing the sport of sailing in our community.
