CSS Alumni Shine at Fall Fury in Madison

This past weekend, several Community Sailing School alumni came together for a CSS reunion at the Fall Fury Regatta in Madison, Wisconsin. While the conditions weren’t as strong as sailors had hoped, the event was filled with great racing, camaraderie, and plenty of fun on and off the water.

A special congratulations goes out to Graham and the University of Michigan team, who sailed to an impressive 3rd place finish against strong competition.

“Honestly, all we were missing was Eric out there on a powerboat tossing barrels and chips at us during postponement,” joked alumnus Nate, who shared the update with us.

Moments like these remind us what makes CSS so special—the connections formed here continue long after graduation. We’re proud to see our sailors thriving at the collegiate level and look forward to welcoming Nate and other alumni back at practice during upcoming breaks.
