The Derby on Cass Lake

What great day with 10-12 knots of wind from the North East that remained consistent.
Visiting teams from the Lansing area and Grosse Pointe South arrived to meet us for a fun day.
Our teams named for the Kentucky Derby race provided additional excitement. Many raced for the first time! Congratulations to all. See scores on scores.hssailing.org.

Thank you to PRO Alex Wszolek, coach Eric William on mark set with Coach Glenn, Coach Mike and Coach Susanna for all your assistance. Thank you to our volunteer leaders, Cheryl and Willie Yuhas, and their crew. Thank you to the Patel family for hosting this event with food and birthday cake for all. Happy Birthday Shivani!
