University of Detroit Mercy places 2nd in Gold Fleet at Nationals

The team of Graham Rebain ‘25 and Charlie Weikel ‘26 are the 2024 runners up at the All State Sugar Bowl Great Oaks Regatta. This regatta, a national championship regatta of the best small sailing programs in the country, took place on Nov 23-24 at the Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans, LA.  MUDJ sailed 10 races on Saturday and 9 on Sunday through light and variable winds to rise steadily and finish the day in 2nd place.  

Congratulations MUDJ on a fabulous Fall Season!
